Stalin's War

Please let me know what you think. This is from a show by a CA

hardcore band named Stalin's War, performing at a small local venue

here in WMASS. This shot captures pretty well the anger and emotion

of the band and their music, and the background elements seem to

establish location well (it's a 15'x 10' shed in someone's back

yard). Thanks!

i like the moment you've caught here, but there's just too much wasted space. I think that a head shot would work better, after all, thats the key part of the photograph and the expression is great.

Erick, I have mixed feelings about the mike cutting the face of the singer in two. While I found it interesting in the beginning, I am starting to wonder whether it does not draw too much attention to the detriment of the singer himself. Of course it may have been difficult/impossible to do otherwise, and overall this shot nicely captures a punck rock concert atmosphere. In that sense, you clearly met your goals. Cheers. Olivier

definatly a cool moment, yeah I guess the mike is a little distracting, but hey I understand it's not always possible to frame things the best way, it's a concert... in a shed. I like it my only suggestion would be to either try and bring out the background, it's too dark in this print. Or crop in a little tighter, that would probably give it more punch too. Nice shot. I was surprised to see this is digital. Damn. I sell G2's at my work but I was pretty impressed, the skin tomes look damn good.
