iancoxleigh 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Very nice work. I love both the well managed tonalities of the B&W and also the toning of the image -- the magenta cast in the shadows certainly add to the work. The cast is grounding yet does not give the same warm quality that a more sepia tone would -- given the subject and the mood of mysteriousness here, I think that is a very good thing indeed. The inclusion of the tree on the right and the fallen tree on the bottom of the image help to give the viewer a sense of being actually part of the scena. I have a strong sense of standing in this woods as I view it. Great Work! Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 21, 2007 As always, your images cast a spell and invoke a certain sense of loss, of innocence tarnished by premature knowledge. Mostly this is evident in your pictures of children but even in the beauty of a quiet woods one is left with a feeling of yearning and immense solitude. Link to comment
