sonneland 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Well I find all sorts of people when I leave the flower section. Snakes no worry, spiders terrify me. How is that new camwera going? I got rid of my 200 and bought a Fuji pro 5, I still have a Nikon D70 and all my Nikon lens. Seeing Sony makes Nikon color chips really put me off Nikon. I have owned Nikons for over 40 years, so it was a big decision. Before digital it would be hard to go past Nikon, but am not so sure anymore. Nice to see some of your work again. All the best.........roger Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted October 14, 2007 All the more reason to keep that macro lens handy! I love that you were able to get the lighting to show the hairs on the body. Link to comment
jeverz 0 Posted October 14, 2007 I am not a spider person at all, that means,i dont like spiders. But it is a beautiful macro-photo! Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted October 14, 2007 I don't like spiders either and the size of this guy, well, not something you'd want to walk into or get in your hair. I just couldn't pass it up, the light was right as they say. Link to comment
andrea allison 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Hi Dave! Wow! Now that's a spider! Beautiful contrast with the green background. The markings on this spider are very striking. I don't think I would want to walk into this either.... Looking at his web and his big bulbous body he may of just eaten. :) Nice capture! Kind Regards Andrea Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted October 14, 2007 Andrea, I think your correct. He hasn't moved for a couple of days and he's not as fat today. Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
