single photos Untitled

This is one of my first prints that I developed in the dark room,

just finished it today. Shot with a pentax k1000 and hp5 film.Please

let me know what I can do better and what is good. Thank you

This is very good tone for a first try. You have a natural knack for nailing the correct tonal range.

 

I think the whites are blown, need to push those a bit, perhaps by burning in. But the rest of the contrast range is pretty good.

I agree about the whites, but otherwise the tonality is great and so are the composition and moment captured

Wonderful caption of the joy of the playing children. The composition is just perfect and the tones are great. I recognize the "sculpture" that the kids are playing near. I really like your take on it. Wonderfully done. Dan

I believe this is Millenium Park in Downtown Chicago, is it not? What a great place to walk around with a camera. I have some similar pics like this one, but unfortunately I only had my wife's little point and shoot on me at the time. Nice shooting!
