Brian, I noticed you used a circular polarizer for this shot. I might suggest a graduated ND, that would allow you to retain more of the exposure in the foreground and at the same time not blow-out the sky. Just a suggestion from someone who's still learning.

I'm definitely still learning. I didn't know these existed until you mentioned them. After doing some brief research, that looks like the way to go (if I can scrounge up the money for one).

I think you'll find that it's worth it.
