Mountain Sunrise

of spring-fed trout hatchery in Highland County, VA

I love the subtle color and lighting in the image. The soft hills in the background go well with the darker foliage in the foreground. One thing I would do is crop out the branch on the left hand side, its kind of floating there from nowhere. Otherwise, I like it, I think its a lovely shot. Too bad other raters dont think so.

Beautiful soft colors, well balanced composition, very interesting!

A wonderful, soft and beautiful image that was well seen and captured. Not too crazy about the man made object in the water. I would have still taken this image but for a 2nd image, I would have moved to the left and whipped out a telephoto and see what I could do with the scene to capture another perspective but without the gate-like object in the water.
