paul_norman_dicaire 0 Posted July 5, 2002 Hi, James. My first impressions are of the skin tones. They seem rather cool. Other than the flag on her tank top, nothing stands out color-wise. How did you meter for this shot? Did you use your cameras' guide number as a starting reference? Having said that, it looks like you're on the right track. I don't think there's any mystery to good photography, just practise. You're on your way. Keep it up! Link to comment
james_bibow1 0 Posted July 5, 2002 To tell u the truth Paul, Im horrible at flash work and I'll be the first to admit it...I toned the skin down to nearly b and w to have the flag stand out, but I doubt I created a good look... I shot this w/o knowing anything about studio lighting and ive learned alot since than. I was metering with my built in meter, nothing more...and usingthe flash heads on slave only because I have to.....Im learning Ithink Link to comment
