Banded Garden Spider

Hi Gordon, I shot the same thing last night. Looks like you had the benefit of the full web. Nice shot. I had to take about 30 frames before I got one that didnt have a little movement. So delicate. Regards Brian

Hi Gordon. Thanks for comments on the Garden Spider. I wouldn't know one sex from the other , but We have several of these spiders around our 2 acres . Some are a little more orange in color. I notice in Your photo , the bands go all the way around the body.? You have a great photo. Thanks again. Jerry
