Couldn't look at this one without commenting. Wonderful expression - as in so many of your portraits - and the lighting, tones and range seem great to me. I also like the DOF... seems just right. AND, **those eyes** WOW!

The Charm is irresistable, the eyes and glow in the eyes, the hands and look, you have a way with portraits no doubt ;-))

I love his expression and his focus on whatever he is looking at... makes me want to know who he's staring at.

I like this tightly framed , intimate image with perfect balance and expression . Everything works very well in this image which I believe is one of your best portraits. The eyes with their reflections magically hold this sharp picture together . A great work with exquisite timing and a fine portrait indeed. All the best from Terra Australis Incognita.

It's incredible how espressive infants can be. There is so much message in this image- it's adictive watching it!. Joseph I am impressed with your portraits...they are gettting better and better everyday. The black and white here is a great choice!

Excellent shot! I love the expression! You captured the moment!

Only slight comment - image could use a bit more contrast and there is a slight "white line" on the baby's arm against the dark - perhaps from sharpening(?) - could be cloned out easily.

I think this may be the best portrait in this folder. Expression is unique, and this unusually tight framing still works, since this baby seems to feel tight himself - in the frame, in his chair...? :-) I like the little girl with doll too, but the cropped doll is a bit of a pity, and tight framings don't always work to the person's advantage... Tight framings enhance great expressions, but make it difficult to understand these expressions because we then lack some context... Pros and cons, I guess... Cheers.
