huibohou 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Hi, this is another Yading landscape photo which I'd like to get your critique. When I was there on this late afternoon, there was a thin yellow light which put rest of the mountain and river in the deep shadows, and only a horse was in the light. I hope I have captured this magic light. One question though: is the right side shadow too dark for you? Your honest opinion is very much appreciated. Link to comment
nitintawade 0 Posted September 25, 2007 I think you are successful in capturing the magic light. But i think image should be cropped a little at bottom as it distracts.Think about it.Best regards. Link to comment

yves_p 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Splendid picture. Excellent composition and gorgeous colours. A little crop of the dark bottom and right parts might do. What to you think? Congratulations. Yves P. (http://imagesyves.net). Link to comment
regis 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Hello Huibo Your composition is flawless and I wouldn't change a single thing here. It is however a bit too dark to my taste. A small adjustment of shadows areas would be helpful here. Best Regards, Piotr Link to comment

huibohou 0 Posted September 26, 2007 Nitin, Alon, Gabi, Yves, Piotr, Jim, Thank you all for your kind and constructive comments. Yves, thanks for taking the time to crop the image and I think it makes quite sense. I will keep this option in mind; Piotr, I also worried about being too dark at the right side; however it is getting quite some noise when I tried to lighten it up in that area. I will see what I can do. Thanks again. Link to comment
