Very strange feeling of isolation and loneliness in such a public place. The moving walkway is empty, and the only company to be had are reflections and shadows. Really terrific image. Looks like you have been on the road and in the air.

Laurent, the composition, the colors, and the title..... everything has been done incredibly well! I agree with David 100 percent.... Congratulations on this excellent work!

Laurent, seeing it in the thumbnail, it looked strange like he is standing on something tall,....enlarging it I saw that he is standing on his own reflection.....It is a very interesting composition, I agree with David, strange that he is alone in that kind of place. I like the yellow music tool, the accentuated color in that nearly monochromatic cold blue/gray surrounding.

Marvellous! Makes me wonder, how long time you had to wait - or how long he stood there after the capture? I can imagine your heartbeat on high gear that moment...

Thanks David, Brad, Pnina, Paul and Markuu for your comments...

Markuu...I was killing time myself waiting to take a plane at the Madrid airport when I saw this guy...I had the time to take 2-3 shots before he was gone...no real time to think and adjust composition...but sometimes I guess I think too much and I'd better shoot spontaneously and think later....that's what I did here...

Laurent, you were on roll that day. Another terrific realisation. A complex and sophisticated image yet perfectly composed and readable. A real visual delight. That's one scene I would've liked to capture! Congratulations, Laurent.

Colorful, human, and sterile all at once. What a polished airport. You can see yourself coming and going. I'm particularly impressed with how you have used the yellow to pull the disparate parts of the scene together into one effective composition.

Thanks Laurent, Jeff, Daily, Amal for your comments and thoughts....

Daily, thanks for your suggestion about the left yellow reflection...I understand and accept it fully...I usually refrain from making local correction mostly because I like natural things and also I don't have the PS skills (I am often deceived by the result)...I'll give it a try...

Wonderfu image. The composition is tied together not only with color but with shape as well. The graphic lines of the moving walkway and even the stark clock providing a very good backdrop to this "man in his environment" scene. The power of this image, to me, is in the levels of relationship between form and color, foreground and background, man and man-made. It's a great visual accomplishment which reaches me emotionally both as drama and as form.
