sonneland 0 Posted September 21, 2007 That depends on what part of the world your living in, our garden is just starting to come alive, these snow drops are always one of the first flowers in our garden. Yes I love this time of the year. All the best..........roger Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted September 21, 2007 I like the arrangement of blossoms and the gentle arch of the stem. I would be envious of you, going into the spring now, if I were not so very fond of the fall, which is now upons us in this hemisphere. I have your entire summer filled with blossoms to look forward to whilst I go through winter. These little beauties are always such cheerful harbingers of spring, ours often live up to their name and come up right through the last of the snow. Link to comment
mareval 2 Posted September 21, 2007 Beautiful and fresh composition in... green. Love it!! Link to comment
vicenteconcha 8 Posted September 21, 2007 Delicacy in the composition is admirable. The beauty this anywhere, is only necessary to discover it with good eyes. Congratulations. Best wishes. Your friend Vicente. Link to comment
bertr 0 Posted September 21, 2007 Just returned from a three day jaunt into Algonquin Park, where Autumn is painting trees red and golden. Temperature was around 28 to 29...I went swimming in the lake each day. This is a truly lovely image of the harbinger of Spring. We called these flowers the "Snow bells" There is also a variety without the green markings at the end of each petal. The flower is also a little slimmer. Beautiful....Bert Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted September 21, 2007 Well Roger, glad you haven't lost your touch during your long winter. You've done some great networking and will payoff.I am a little surprised that you don't have this back-lite? Well composed! Dave Link to comment
marlabmarrs 0 Posted September 23, 2007 This is very pretty, they flowers are beautiful. The white-ish green-ish circle at the bottom kind of distracts me from the photo though, maybe make it a bit darker? like the one above closer to the stems Link to comment
andrewcampbell 1 Posted September 24, 2007 Had to come back to take another look at this. Of course the subject flowers are very beautiful; but I have to comment on the background. I feel it compliments the overall composition extremely well. Regards. Link to comment

andrea allison 0 Posted September 30, 2007 Hi Roger! Your snow drops are lovely. And I like both equally. Each one has it's own special mood. This one shows a delicate freshness giving a feeling of lighting the way. I think of a little lamp casting it's light , there at the bottom. Beautiful! Kind Regards Andrea Link to comment
sonneland 0 Posted September 30, 2007 Sometimes I get busy or just forgetful and don't check on images, which is what has happened on this one. Was really surprised to see all the comments, thank you everyone. Andrea, you are right about the two different moods that was why I put both up, this one seems to be the most popular. All the best to everyone..................roger Link to comment
sketch_tbhotmail.com 11 Posted June 16, 2009 There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said about this Roger. The dof is perfect, the lighting is just right and the composition is bang on. The fact that it's covered in dew makes this that much more special. I'm assuming the light is natural? I really like that only the uppermost flower is highlighted. Almost like a podium and it's reached the goal first. Link to comment
