scott_hotaling 0 Posted September 9, 2007 After an overwhelming barrage of 3/3s the last time I posted this image, I thought I would make a few minor edits and re-post it. Hopefully I can get some real opinions this time. Link to comment
jeffschuka 0 Posted September 9, 2007 3/3's? That doesn't make sense. Gorgeous image. Beautiful. Link to comment
_jackie 0 Posted September 9, 2007 YES, finally a different view of this site! This is wonderful, Scott. I actually skipped this on my recent trip to Page, AZ because I had seen so many (cliche) images of it. But this is gorgeous, and definitely different! Congrats on a spectacular capture. (and you know where the 3/3ers can go) Link to comment
jtangen 0 Posted September 10, 2007 This is very nice Scott. I posted one recently from almost the same vantage point. Looks like we were there around the same time. You got wonderful red off the horizon. That particular span of time (late july early aug.)could not have had better weather/light. Link to comment
ewert02 0 Posted September 11, 2007 The colors, composition, and detail are great. This is a beautiful shot. Link to comment
deepblue 0 Posted September 11, 2007 Scott, This is a great image. I struggled with this spot this summer. I've got the "normal" Horseshoe Bend shot, but as you know, the lighting in this area is tough. I longed for clouds to soften the light. You were fortunate with the clouds and the quality of the light, but you definitely made the most of your opportunity. When I get to "cliche" places, I have a horrible time seeing beyond the cliche. Kudos to you for your originality and a great image. Link to comment
