Thank you and yes, this was a pleasure to happen upon. I'm afraid I missed the more glorious light from the moments just prior to this photo as I went for my camera. It was a unique special moment in a busy city. Hope all is well with you and so glad to see your frequent visits. Your bio pic smile has been so pleasent to see in your absence; thank you. Keep those grades up and take care of yourself. Sincerely, ~Sky

Thank you, Janis. This is part of the facade on Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth. She is at the southeast corner of Sundance Square. There are two angels above the entry. This one is on the northeast edge of the building and I discovered she catches the morning sun quite well. The other is on the northwest edge and I bet she may do the same in the setting sun. They are very impressive and command your attention. If I stood on the ledge she rests on I would'nt reach her ankle. I was on top of a 7 story parking garage to take this photograph. I'm sure I would have fallen off the garage if she had pointed at me instead of the beautiful blue sky that morning. They have lots of musical performances here. Everything from top country singers to opera and ballet. I think I would like to go sometime but think they are often black tie affairs. I'm glad to read your words, thanks again. ~Sky

Thanks for your compliment. As for touching her cheeks before I left I'm afraid this angel would have had a lightning bolt waiting...

(I just thanked her for the beautiful pose and departed.) ~Sky

Thank you, Pawel and Grazyna. Grateful for your comment. I was an opportunist here as I happened to be at the right place at the right time. Best regards, ~Sky

Time of day is everything ain't it .. nice one Sky.

I just drove through Texas from Texarkana to Van Horn - just east of El Paso .... Then cut north through Guadalupe Peak and Carlsbad ... I've never seen so much nothing in all my life - meaning west Texas in particular - but Nevada lies ahead - area 51 no less ... !

Sounds like my kind of roadtrip. Don't vanish out there at Area 51. Yep, there's a lot of nothing on that route but not near as much as there was 25 years ago. That's when I really enjoyed it out that way. Thanks for the visit and you're right, timing is everything. Happy Holidays, ~Sky
