dasblute 0 Posted September 1, 2007 So different from my work, but I love the intention in his eyes, the muted tones, nicely done! Link to comment
my mind through my eye 0 Posted September 1, 2007 Good post processing, overall great work but i dont like the colorization on the basketball, was it intentional? Link to comment
kenrick 0 Posted September 1, 2007 Thanks for the comments. Yes the colorization on the basketball was in fact intentional. Mainly to differentiate the human and vulnerable element from the inanimate and unaffected things around. Shot for an aids awareness campaign targeting teens. Link to comment

kenrick 0 Posted September 3, 2007 Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. Roger thank you for guiding me along and encouraging me. I haven't bought the strobe kit as yet and still improvise a lot with reflectors. Made a bad investment some weeks ago that set me back quite a bit. Learned a lot from it though. Link to comment
mommix 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Fantastic and strong expression in this creative portrait with perfect colouring and brightness. Compliments, Kenrick and bye Maury Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 4, 2007 I am in awe!! I amm thrown back at the detal in the hands and the way that you directed his face is just perfect. I love the shadow on his face and the eye looking to his right. The glow on the ball and his fingertip all the way down his arm is perfect. you are a master at this and I want you to know every detail is well appreciated by me. Wonderful~ micki Link to comment
kenrick 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Thanks so much Micki for your generous and encouraging comment but I can't take all the credit. Leasel did a great job with make up and I must tell you that my senior graphic artist Bertrand at just 22 is showing great potential. He did a lot of the digital work. He's a good kid and I plan to teach him everything I know. Link to comment
