jayme 0 Posted August 29, 2007 This doesn't work for me. The composition is confusing, the background distracting. Sorry, I do like the colors & the concept. But... for a cell phone it's a good start:) Link to comment
Charles_Webster 226 Posted August 29, 2007 Nope, doesn't work for me either. It isn't the quality, which is "cell phone," it's the fact that there's nothing to capture my interest, no story, nothing unsaid. This says "girlfriend with hoodie pulled down goofing in the doorway, captured with my cell phone, and over-processed in my photo software." If that is your message, you were successful. If not, you missed the mark. Keep trying. Get a realer camera. Think about what you point it at. Link to comment
William Michael 2,286 Posted October 28, 2007 I find the composition of the subject quite tight, and interesting: but, as the two critiques above have suggested, the background really does `stuff it all up`. I also suggest you develop your talent with equipment at a level better than a cell phone, if that indeed what was used to capture this image. Also a good basic photographic course would be of great benefit, I think. WW Link to comment
