kasey wilson 0 Posted August 28, 2007 Thanks, Joe! I hate snakes, too! LOL! Guess who's really the one being fearless in this shot?! Link to comment
jay_houtz 0 Posted August 28, 2007 What struck me first was the similarity between his tattoo and the design on the snake. Cool picture. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted August 28, 2007 Great take on the theme. Not sure if the snake is venomous, but still takes some gute in any case. Link to comment
kasey wilson 0 Posted August 28, 2007 Thanks for the comments, everyone! No one has said anything about the background. Hmm... I shot this on a green screen, and tried to replace it. It turned out to be harder than anticipated, one, to remove all of the green from the very edge of the subject, and two, to pick another background! I'm not satisfied with this as is, but I ran out of ideas on how to fix it. :) KW Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted August 29, 2007 I dont't even dare to go near it, don't say touch. Very corageous indeed. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 29, 2007 You must have done a good job; it looks natural to me, and I love the background you chose. Ball python, right? Link to comment
kasey wilson 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Thank you, Cherlyn and Kim! The snake is indeed a ball python, a female, in fact, and her name is Babe. Oh, and Roger, forgot to mention, not venomous. :) KW Link to comment

bob_belanger 1 Posted September 5, 2007 Actually, I like the background. And I know what you mean, my contribution for was a similar composition. I tried to take the shot as shown but I couldn't quite get it. Then, by chance I came across these clouds on an outing with my son and thought I could make it ork. Well, the cutting around the figure was hard. One tip that I read somewhere about this, you may want to soften the edges with a slight blur. But, overall I like the composition. Link to comment
kasey wilson 0 Posted September 8, 2007 Bob, thanks for your comment, and the advice! I have other poses from this shoot that I never edited, so I'll try that! :) KW Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted September 19, 2007 A tender moment between man and his snake. He looks like a proud (fearless) dad. Cute shot. Link to comment
kasey wilson 0 Posted September 20, 2007 LOL! He is actually very proud of this snake! He's my brother, I can't explain him! ;) KW Link to comment
