It's interesting (though quite predictable!) to read three out of four comments here.

It's a shame that nobody has made any comments about the lighting, but I guess there is a distracting element in this "run of the mil" image?

It is shot with HENSELs ringflash + Octa Sun Haze RF90 ringflash-softbox. This is in my eyes a very interesting combination, having the ringflash' shadow free (allthough a slight halo) and axial direction, combined with the soft quality of a softbox.

This combo is, by the way, also used by my colleague Garage Glamour Photographer and author Rolando Gomez.

Thanks for your comments anyway...

Taking the simplistic nude factor out of the photo, I think its a good shot. The pose is fine, she does give a bit of sexuality in her expression. The colors are good and warm, the shot is clean and somewhat crisp. On a photographic front, its a good shot. Then you look at the model and she is quite attractive.

Who cares what brand of lights you used on this shot? I could also care less that "Rolando" uses this method. The simple fact is that this is a very oatmeal glamour nude. There are tens of thousands of shots like this on the net and some that are miles better than this. You may be proud of your fancy, expensive lights but those do not make this picture anything other than what it is--a run of the mill glamour nude. Your emotional and/or technical investment in an image does not necessarily make it a good one.

M Swift!

SOME of us find high end light equipment exciting.

I personaly have a keen interrest in the Brise/Bron conflict, and like to talk to Steven Wayda about why he likes Brise, and to Marcus Klinko about why he likes Bron...

Just like Rolando, I think this Hensel combo is VERY interesting, and I trust a number of other photographers might find this information usefull.

What a shame you don't show more respect for Rolando. Have you read his books, or attended any of his courses?

I don't know too much about oatmeal. I'm not so good in a kitchen...

I hate to correct you, but I don't think too many glamour nude shots are done with the Hensel combo? It is, by the way, priced very similar to both Bron and Profoto equipment, and is not particulary "fancy"...

May I take the liberty of whishing you a good day? You sound like you need one!
