clayton_berg 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Hi again, I've been away for awhile, and haven't been shooting much. I don't care for the heat, bugs, harsh summer light, plus I've been working alot. Hope everyone's been well. As for this shot, we've all seen somethign like this, but I felt I needed to visit this sort of shot too. Link to comment
eldar 0 Posted August 24, 2007 These types of shots never get boring for me. I love the crispness of the wheat and the color contrasts between the gold and blue are excellent. Well done. Link to comment

clayton_berg 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Well like the magician pulling a rabbit out of his hat I felt I had to visit this cliche. And today with the lovely light and sky, I figured now is the time. Glad you two liked it. behzad, your shot is nice but a circular polarizer or going back at a different time of day to get a deeper shade of blue out of the sky would help. Link to comment
mikestacey 0 Posted August 24, 2007 A great shot Clayton and one that exhibits those wondeful grain and grass colours which are synonymous with your shots. I'm playing around with shots kind of like this myself at the moment but it means driving a bit further than usual unfortunately. Shooting in the middle of the day is something I don't usually do but your shots show that it can be done, and done well. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Excellent work, Clayton. How the heck did you get the grain heads to stay so still for you? Pretty darn good details. Wonderful sky; good color contrasts between sky and grain. Nice work! A 6/6 anon. Again, welcome back! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
pepmir 0 Posted August 24, 2007 I like much the composition with these spikes of wheat in the first plane and this spectacular sky. Regards. Link to comment
