This is an attempt to enhance a regular photo with a watercolour-like

quality. In addition to the general composition issues [form balance,

light, etc.] an extra question is whether it's been a sucessful

transformation or not.

I'd call it quite successful.

I love what you did to this photo, and I think you really achieved a watercolor effect. Could you tell me what method you used? Thanks!

This is cool -- I like the idea of a traditional Mediterranean Greek space mutating into a warped, digitalised image. It's like the future and past colliding.

Thanos, I recall seeing this and thought I had commented on it. Lovely spacial aspects and forms and your execution is faultless. Hope some of the "It ain't photography" types will wake up to the potential of the medium and try just a couple of times to transform some of their mundane images into striking works like this. Perhaps they will then understand or develop an interest in the step from documentation to creation, and become true artists.
