bvphoto 0 Posted August 16, 2007 Nice shot Kelly! Though it's the first of you in color I've seen... did you try it as B&W? I know many see it as the easy way to convey a feeling or mood, and I don't disagree. But B&W was the first thing I thought of when I saw the shadow of the blinds across your face. Just my two cents. kellyphillips 0 Posted August 16, 2007 Thanks, and no, I haven't (yet) converted to B&W. I will do that because I wanted to see it that way also. I thought the brown around my pupil was kind of neat so I left this one in color. This was a hard shot to get. The sun coming through the window was blinding. I was trying to keep my eyes from watering it was so bright. I used center focus on my 24-105 and looked into the lens until I could see the reflection of my eye on the center focus point through the front of the lens. I called this photo "eyes," what a dumb title since it's only one eye. The original included part of the other eye, but quickly got cropped out. Link to comment
