Edge of the Earth

Self portrait taken with the 10 second timer, took quite a few trys because the scene would

fog over before the shutter could go off.

Well I don't know if this was the real thing or some fabrication from PS, but it is a stunning capture. Truly breathtaking - no pun intended.

What I would pay to be at your place right there! :). Unique shot. just amazing.

Great shot, great location, everything about it is truly wonderful. One that rivals the late, great Galen Rowell. How on earth did you do this? One of the best shots I have EVER seen.

10 seconds self timer??? You must have been guarded;-) A small mistake would have fatal consequences. But since you are obviously still alive after the shot, your risk taking really paid off. A really strong emotional content in this shot.

I'm sure you had to scramble really quickly to get into position. :D

What a great shot!

Is it real or is it Memorex?  Never mind....either way this is one of the most creative and amazing shots I've seen.  Exposure is good, especially considering the dark mass of rock against the brightness of the sky and distant mountain.  Would love to know more about how you constructed or shot this image.
