landscapes Rippled Gold
Sunsets have an unfotunate stigma attached to them by photographers, that frankly I find both surprising and unjustified. I was busying myself with shooting the rippled texture of the sand and believed that any chance of a sunset had in fact already evaporated. By chance and for a very short duration the sun streamed through a thin sea haar (mist) so close to the horizon that its power was severely diminished thus preventing lens flare. The rippled sand was beautifully transformed to a crazed lattice of gold and amber that cupped a windblown tide pool.NEW!! Photographic Holidays at TRANSIENT LIGHT.
