bigsquashbuggy 0 Posted August 12, 2007 Well, I've trying to figure out your intention with the shot and I can't quite do it. The sky is blown out (over exposed) which negates the top of the image. The table is cut off - so that's not the story either. That leaves the light post and the boats. And they don't do enough for me. Finally, the horizon tilts to the right. It is a tough shot to make - subject wise and also because you're shooting directly into the sun. Link to comment
hjoseph7 1,550 Posted August 12, 2007 I like the way the light reflects off that bottle, but if that's what you wanted to portray, you should have included the rest of the table with all that glass and focused on that. Otherwise, I would have taken this picture at sundown or used a strong (ND) filter. The daylight, is just too prominent in this shot, overblowing the sky and sea.
