The second shot of a swimmer I took. Any comments about the

cropping / tone would be most appreciated.

Much better viewed larger.

Many thanks,

Kevin

Very interesting and unusual but I like it a lot. I like the dark foreground and dark water and the white swimsuite. Good job!

What a unique perspective! This is an incredibly neat way to depict goal-setting. Watching the swimmer struggle against the water leaving the ripples of "being there" in his/her wake. Nicely done.

(My other thought was this looked like a spider and web).

Great job. Wouldn't change a thing. (PN won't allow 7's..sorry)

Hi,

This is a truly great image, wonderful play with negativ space. The first thing came to my mind was Life itself, that is how we ripple Time while living our lives.

Unique to me. Composition using the empty space for the swimmer to move into, and showing the consequences on the form of waves behind and to the side are excellent.

Almost a graphic illustration of the butterfly effect, which I suspect is something similar to what you are trying to show.

Just a simple, but excellent shot.

How did you do this shot? It looks completely contrived. I know of no scenario in which that much water can be rendered 0/0/0 RGB. Can you describe the location, your vantage point and the camera settings and lenses, filters that gave this result? The waves look like artwork.

I'd be glad to be made dead wrong, but I don't buy it.

Actually, it is not a Photoshop work of art! It was take from a Castle hundreds of metres up a sheer cliff face, looking directly down on the lake it looks over and the lido below. Taken with a 400mm lens and cropped. The location is Lake Bled, Slovenia.

Sorry to disappoint but consider yourself corrected.

You have a lovely portfolio Sir.
