layne_harris 0 Posted June 20, 2002 I took this picture in New Mexico, just outside of Las Vegas, NM. It was once a very important western fort, but I have forgetten the name. (oops!) Link to comment
alex_p._schorsch 0 Posted June 20, 2002 Nice composition, maybe a human figure would help give a bit of perspective. It's kind of neat the two colors red and blue, but I think maybe you adjusted the red in Photoshop (please tell me if I'm right) becuase it seems just too uniform. If you had just a little bit of green (or yellow) grass in the front, I think the photo would seem more natural and be better. The photo on the net is a bit too small to fully appreciate, I'd like to be able to feel the texture more. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted June 20, 2002 Great colors and fine also for the composition - except maybe for the cropped window on the right. It just lacks a bit of details, and maybe 2 more spectacular angle, but still a good shot. Regards. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 22, 2002 Hi Layne, This is a nice image, well titled, properly exposed, vibrantly colored, well composed. Well, almost well composed. I don't see the foreground making any contribution to the overall presentation, except that it seems to be an almost perfect mirror of the sky. Ok, I've played around with cropping the foreground and it doesn't really make the picture any better, in fact, it seems to make it worse, so I was wrong. Above average in aesthetics and subject treatment(most would probably have shot it dead on) Link to comment
hugo_rumayor 0 Posted June 22, 2002 Great shot, i like the adobe, and the shadows of the tires. Link to comment
