photodonn 0 Posted October 27, 2007 As others have said, it's wonderful. The eyes askew make it een more charming, somehow. You might want to clone that little flash spot on the glasses, that would be easy enough. Bravo :) Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted October 27, 2007 Thanks for your comments. Question - I've tried to replace a photo with no luck. If I choose Edit under Details and then upload the replacement, the old photo is still there. Is there some secret you know of? Thanks Link to comment
photodonn 0 Posted October 27, 2007 I don't think you can do that... it would just be for your personal collection, etc. If somebody else knows, I'd be curious too. Link to comment
frits_nieuwenburg 0 Posted October 31, 2007 One can only replace pictures by first deleting them via options, and then uploading the new version via the "ADD" option. I personaly do not agree that the flash reflection is a big no-no. The greatest in portrait photography leave the reflections of ringflashes/softboxes and traditional flashes unremoved in the eyes of all they portraied, so why not in the glasses... (I always see this as an extention of the exec ;-) Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted October 31, 2007 Thanks for the comment about the flash on the glasses. Good to know. The downside of replacing photos by deteting and adding is losing all the comments. I would especially hate to lose the dry, witty ones like - hmmmmm - well can't think of anybody's right now :) Cheers - Link to comment

alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 4, 2007 I just love it when great photographers tell me I got something right. Thanks! Good luck with your move, your new career. Just keep shooting :) Cheers - Link to comment

jmoody 0 Posted November 10, 2007 looks like I'm the last one to hear about the party (wouldn't be the first time :-( Anyway, ditto to the rest. Best expression possible and a wonderful innocence and spontenaiety (sp) here. Reminds me in an odd way of Ralphie from "Christmas Story" (You'll shoot your eye out etc...) Anyway, great portfolio and love this shot especially Link to comment

alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 18, 2007 Thank you both for your comments. A.K., I'm sure you're correct about a crop and will do that for the family album. Adan, I hope this darling child has God's ear all his life. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 23, 2008 I think cousin Gabe has now become everyone's cousin Gabe. Rare that you can touch so many with a single picture. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 23, 2008 I was thinking that same thing (that Jack just said) about this same image earlier today. Alberta - you really have a wonderful image here! Link to comment

cycler48 8 Posted January 25, 2008 This image brings a smile to my face. I get the feeling that this young lad is an angel with horns. In other words, a very sweet boy with a mischievous side. Aside from a few technical things, this is as pure as it gets. Well done. Link to comment
