alex_kew 0 Posted August 9, 2007 Not sure if the out-of-focus Spit in the background helps or spoils this shot. Thoughts welcome. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted August 10, 2007 Alex.., because of it's being "attatched.." sharp would be slightly better. Now the unsharpness is taking attention away by that being close.. However, even being sharp still it's place would be an issue. Watch, whith slightly closed eyes..: it looks sharper, but IMHO it's still that place. :) Olaf Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted August 10, 2007 Another Spitfire never spoils any kind of aesthetic, come on!:) I personally think that from a graphic stand point, not from that of a Spitfire-a-holic like me, the blurr of the second Spit is actually beneficial to this image. It lends its beautiful silhouette, but doesn`t distract from the foreground interest. Link to comment
dangoldman 0 Posted August 11, 2007 What, spoil? That makes the shot for me! As if he is breaking to engage. Link to comment
duncan speirs 0 Posted August 12, 2007 i think the second spit helps this pic, without it the perspective of the main subject is not the best angle to display it. Cheers Duncan Link to comment
shacknav 0 Posted August 12, 2007 Guess I'm in a bit of a minority on this one. IMO the second image is distracting and does not add to the effect or the composition. The eye is drawn to it and the impact of the main image is lessened. (At least you got all of them in frame ......Alex. Just joking!) Regards..............Pat. Link to comment
