I have got to buy some of your prints. Seriously. It would be great to have one signed... Do you get that artistic look from edge sharpening or what?

Thanks Scott. Please do. These images look way better on print when you can admire the fine detail. I suspect the 'artisic look' is derived from the soft light appearing onto the foreground. That, and some extra dodge/burning on my part.

A little while ago I commented that your Ruby Beach photo was one of the best photos I had ever seen. This one comes pretty close to that. This photo embodies the beauty of nature in its purest form. I am guessing that you used something like a 2-stop hard edge GND to balance the light - could you tell me which one you used? Thanks.

Marc,

Fantastic shot with great lines and detail and perfect tonalities as usual. I love the recent similar image you took with the moon in the corner but I think I like this one even more. What a beautiful alpine scene.

Marc,

I love this one ; this is the kind of landscape I have near my house.

I 'm still in love with your final rendering , SO SHARP moreover , I'm still wondering , how to get this sharpness . If you can help me , don't hesitate ;).

Exposition very well done .. ( hard step singh ray filter shouldn't make a hard transition ?) .

One of your best shot , for me .

Another complete photo story. The rocks to the left give balance. My eyes are drawn to the bands of color on the mountain. The array of flower colors is amazing, as if you have been spreading miracle grow along the banks of this stream. BTW, a previous post asked about the sharpness. I will thank you now for sharing your web sharpening technique which I have been using recently. It has made a world of difference for my web jpg files, giving them a similar sharpness I had never achieved before. Thanks for another strong visual rendition of nature.

Almost too good to be true ;-) Beautiful foreground balanced by a beautiful background. The light is soft and clear. I would love to see this as a 24x36" print from my DJ130..!
