Very thought provoking. A tiny bit of the little pieces that make up a day, an experience - well captured. Very original composition. I see some gave it poor ratings, but I like it.

Agree with David. I gather there are robot-generated ratings on Photo.net that the elves have to remove manually, from bogus accounts. I wonder if this is one of them, or if people just don't take the time to look and think. The more I look at this one, the more I like it.

 

I guess you can't really pay too much attention to the ratings. I see someone once put up famous masterpieces of photography on a critique website, and the pictures got panned, with scathing comments - quite funny.

 

I could see this hanging in an art gallery if it were a painting.

I know this is probably not the place to discuss this, but it makes me so damn mad when that happens. This is clearly a quality image, that anyone would recognize as above average (whether they like it or not). I hope you are right that that rating is generated by a robot, because if there are people that ignorant on Pnet and they get to rate, I fear for the value of the system.

I agree 100% regarding the anonymous 3/3 raters ... they're like cockroaches. While this particular image isn't my "cup of tea" so to speak, I do see it as a quality image deserving an appropriate rating.
