This, the others like it (details), and your landscape work show your great eye for composition and taking overlooked subjects and making them heroes. Having said that though, I think in this case the tie down thing needs a bit of breathing room. It's a little crowded up there. Exposure is spot on and the contrast is really working without going overboard - just right. While typing, I noticed those 3 ovals near the top, pretty sure you could do without those.

I cropped in close during post process, I was in two minds but decided on the closeness to accentuate the line of the rope, although I couldn't bring myself to get rid of the bottom bit so that it tucked nicely into the corner; I liked the dark wall too much.

I couldn't get rid of the 3 dots either without losing the very top of the post thing, heh, its amazing what you can find after the shot is taken even if you thought you were paying attention at the time.
