richard_lowery 0 Posted June 18, 2002 --nice potrait, Ashley. Lighting is a little harsh- but overall , OK. Link to comment
bob fowler 8 Posted June 18, 2002 The harshness of the lighting is more than offset (at least to me) by the softness of her expression. Outstanding shot! Link to comment
ken_burns1 0 Posted June 19, 2002 Ashley, really good, especially if this is your first try. If you want to reduce the harshness of the lighting a bit, try using a large reflector board to camera right to reflect some light into the shadow areas. You can then stop down a bit to darken the highlight areas and keep them from washing out, espcially on her right shoulder. In the end the shadows should turn out about the same. Good shot, though! aline_ron 0 Posted June 24, 2002 The photo is nice but it's a bit burned on the left. It was overexposed... Link to comment
angelo_gordini 0 Posted June 24, 2002 Nice shot, but the film seems to be burned out in the bottom left corner (or is a matter of scanning?), and there's something wrong with the perspective: the camera should have been turned a few degrees clockwise, the extreme right wall must be inclinated, not the one behind the little girl. It should be lowered too, in my opinion, about a feet to reach about her height; now it looks (just a bit) like an adult looking at her from above and this is not right to me. Link to comment
steven_schmiedeskamp 0 Posted June 29, 2002 Personaly I realy like how bright it is on the left, because it makes the picture that more intresting to me. Link to comment
