When this thunderhead formed, lightning was flashing about every

three seconds. I captured many well formed bolts.

I hope you don't mind but I took this shot and made a few adjustments. One of the things I did was to crop this shot, When shooting lightning Ive found that you only need a little bit of landscape to do the trick. It really takes away from the focal point which is the C2C (Cloud to Cloud) strike. Second thing I did was to adjust the levels on this shot. This bolt has blown out alot of the area, so brought down the levels bar to bring out all of the little fingers coming off the bolt. If you still have the RAW negative you should go back and play with the exposure value while its still in RAW, I'm pretty sure it will really set this shot off! I'm marking you as interesting so that hopefully I can see more of your lightning work, I also invite you to take a look at my lightning folder!
