1. watch the hot spot in the background...either "burn" that area or frame in tighter to crop out the hot spot.

 

2. IF framing in tighter there should be slightly more "space" towards her front rather than behind her head.

 

3. be careful how you crop.. either you crop about a third above her breast (half way to the neck line) -- the way it is shown now is "neither here nor there".

 

4. watch for stray light rays (e.g. above her ear) since the eye is naturally drawn to the brightest area of the photo.

I greatly appreciate your comments and will see if adjustments can be made. From your comments, it sounds like you are either a practiced expert or have read extensively. I was disappointed to not find any of your work on photo.net, but I always enjoy looking at the work of an expert to try to learn a bit more. Might you have another website? And finally, I would greatly appreciate your comments/guidance on any of my other work. Thanks, Steven
