Taken on top of a mountain near my house in Tennessee. This is two

pictures stitched together to form a vertical panorama. The

orange/yellow light at the bottom is due to light pollution from

buildings, but in all honesty I like the effect. Thanks!

WOW...simply stunning! I live in NC and have never seen a sky lke that before. How do you get the starts to look so great?

Hey Thomas. Thanks for your comment on my Milky Way shot. Yours is beautiful! I love the color contrast of the light pollution with the blue stars. You indicated that you felt yours looked more processed than mine, but it's hard for me to see that. I didn't do any sharpening on my shot, as being at ISO 1600, sharpening just made it noisy. Maybe that's the difference. Anyway, you've done some great work in your portfolio. Well done!
