soniam 6 Posted January 21, 2008 The contrast is very striking but I think the soft light is most powerful. I love that the shadows are so subtle they are barely noticable. Congratulations Rakesh Link to comment
tony c 0 Posted January 22, 2008 To me this photograph contains all the important elements any photograph 'should' contain. There are no extreme highlights, but the detail is accurately preserved, down to the deepest shadow on the pottery. My only concern is that the garlic doesn't look as realistic as do the pottery items - they seem to have been overworked and don't show the same range of exposure as might be expected. However, the overall image is very good and one I will use as a standard of excellence to aim for in my own photography. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted January 22, 2008 Beautifully done. The lighting is perfect, as is the detail in the low light areas. The light is so subtle. No hot spots, just very even with hints of rim light. The square composition works great in this shot Link to comment
kaushikphotography 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Great choice of POW. Perfect light, detailings and the exposure. Most interesting part I think is the white balance, which is quite difficult to maintain in subtle light. Outstanding photograph. Link to comment
l4ado 0 Posted January 22, 2008 A photo sublime, with a special domain of colors, lights and shadows. A work of art in final Best Regards Link to comment
