samrat 1 Posted July 18, 2007 This was taken draping a polythene sheet over a table lamp. Thank you for your comments. Link to comment
sergey-afanasyev 0 Posted July 18, 2007 I can see you started to use a new lighting technique. Light is really fascinating. It's very soft and subtle. But I can't get any sense from this capture, no matter how I try. I don't understand the combination of these elements. However it makes the shot magnetic. Link to comment
samrat 1 Posted July 19, 2007 Thanks for your observations, Sergey. I'm glad you liked the lighting, as I work with very limited equipment. Regarding the items in the photo, I just found the roll of twine and a few figs and thought of placing them randomly to see if they look good together. This is just a casual shot; there's no specific meaning that is sought to be conveyed, hence I'm only glad that it appears "magnetic" to you. To me, the one of the end results of a photo should be it's appeal to the viewer's eye. Link to comment
syalphotography 0 Posted July 21, 2007 Great lighting and details here, Samrat!! The subjects must relate to each other and should be story telling one, thread and a piece of old canvas or may be jeans, figs and dry leafs etc! Best regards! Link to comment
rajnishduara 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I initially thought it to be three mice nibbling at the twine! The miniature effect! Good concept. Link to comment
