single photos Sun setting over Lynn Canal

After shooting 3 photos, I looked up in time to see a Humpback whale

disappearing below the surface, out of frame to the left. Oh well,

next time.

 

The only "enhancement" was cropping a little from the bottom of the

photo and scaling it down to about 40% of the original size, for

purposes of posting it here..

It seems just a bit soft. Can't tell whether is is because of the resizing or the filter (or a combination of both).

I believe it's due to the reduction in size. The original is very crisp. I couldn't post that one because it's over 4mb and would take up 4 19" monitors to view it. Thanks for the comment though. -Jim

First impression: I love it.

 

Sharp focus and great depth of field (mountains). Love the little island to the left and the somewhat curve of the water (you can almost draw an "S" curve in it). In other words, interesting lines.

 

 

This is good except for that mountain range in the back. Just looks out of place.

It's where it is.
