hasan 0 Posted July 14, 2007 Beautiful work, how do you guys manage to get so close to these birds? I have a 70-200mm lense with an extender 1.4 on a crop camera that gives me 448mm focal lenght and yet I am NOT able to get so colse to these birds. Do you guys set up something hidden and then hide and wait close to their nest or something? Regards- Hasan Link to comment

john.mathieson 0 Posted July 14, 2007 This is an absolutely stunning photo - amazing sharpness and isolation, colour balance is hard to believe - fantastic light on the face - one of the best bird photos I have ever seen anywhere. (I see some 6 ratings - wonder what their 7 is?) A masterpiece. Link to comment

ejansen 0 Posted July 15, 2007 Wow, I would be intrested to know how many failures preceded this superb shot. We have all been there, and some of us get something nice, but this capture ranks the top 1 quite easily. Well done, and show us some more. Erwin Link to comment
