Firstly, I like the composition with the pier coming forward to the mid-point of the image and I am also enamored with the cross-frame light to dark progression (and subtle vignette). The colours are nice too (not overdone). My major criticism is the slightly off-kilter horizon line. I don't think it adds anything and it would be easy to correct. I also think the image is a little bit bright in the upper left. My only other thought is that this would make a very nice B&W given the intricate patterning in the sky and the presence of both true blacks and true whites in the exposure. I quickly worked a B&W version (and slightly toned it) in Adobe Lightroom to show you what I was thinking -- I hope you don't mind. Link to comment
derron 0 Posted September 27, 2007 hhahaha, i like it in color better the reflection is great and the washed out left adds a mysterious effect. i would get annoyed if i were you with all these people editing your pictures. Link to comment
