thadley 15 Posted August 17, 2007 30 minutes before this image was taken it would have been the typicaltourist post card view. I thought this scene had a bit more drama andinteresting lines. I like it and hope you do also. Thanks for your time,(Taken in St.Kitts). Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted August 17, 2007 The colors are great. It's hard to incorporate peace and drama all at once. I imagine watching the rain roll in from beneath shelter (or maybe not), enjoying getting lost in the scene. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 17, 2007 Very poetic words! Thanks for the endorsement through your comment and ratings. I had some some 'out-of-the-box' abstract images that I was considering for the critique but chickened out at the last minute. Hope all is well and best regards, Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted August 17, 2007 Tony, What does that say about a site that's suppose to promote creativity, experimentation, and growth? I, too, hold back on stuff that I consider "risky" because posting for criticism and then getting slammed anonymously isn't any fun. Not that the ratings are all that important, but just getting a string of 3's and 4's unaccompanied by comment is somewhat hollow and unfulfilling. I do a lot of "Critique Only" these days. Okay, I'm sounding a like a grouchy contrarian. I hope to see some of your experimental shots eventually... Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 17, 2007 I am definitely going to submit one of those 'off beat' ones tomorrow. Just got one of those 3/3 Anon without explanation but as we all know that is all part of life at PN. He! He! Have to get my beauty rest (I need it) so will be turning in soon. Link to comment

ryourth 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Beautiful composition Tony. The juxtoposition of the sharpness of the small wave & the almost abstract feeling of the background with the beautiful low tones & very unusual colour of the lake create a very peacefull & relaxing image.Would be a very good healing art photo. This is one of my favourite of all your great images.Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
