jerrymat 5 Posted June 11, 2002 I see from your portfolio you are on the way to becoming an expert tree photographer. This one is my favorite. It boasts a simple design and composition with dark forms against a background that shows a perfect example of perspective enhancement by aerial haze. I also like what is basically a monochrome image in gentle hues. Link to comment
steve_garrigues 0 Posted June 11, 2002 I love trees, in all their splendid diversity. Here is a shot I like of two different trees, one popular with the birds, and the other not. Who can figure the mind of a bird? How do you feel about this photo? Any comments would be appreciated. Link to comment
patrick_michel_dagenais 0 Posted June 11, 2002 I probably would not have noticed the birds if it weren't for the title (could have been dead leaves, who know's). It's what makes the picture a bit more special to me. I might find a spot on the wall for that. Link to comment
hexenwolfe 0 Posted June 11, 2002 Beautiful shot. The color is most appropriate for the foggy morning effect. The telephoto compression effect on the hills in the background also adds a subtle balance to the photo. The asymmetry against the visual grain (small unbalanced tree on the left, large symmetric tree on the right) keeps this image attractive and prevents it from being cloying and too sachrine. brefe 0 Posted July 4, 2002 I liked way the blue color came in this pictures! Did you have to do anything in photoshop? Well done! Link to comment
