hanna_cowpe 0 Posted July 4, 2007 Built to last with hand sawn boards three inches thick. But it looked like it was being demolished. They just don't build them like that anymore. Link to comment
briceburtch 0 Posted July 4, 2007 Hanna, this is great subject matter. I would go back in the evening when the light is better. It would warmup the tones and give you better shadows. I would zero in on the dovetail corners, they are great. Where is this? BTW I really like your portfolio. You've done some very nice work. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted July 5, 2007 Thanks Brice. This was a final and unplanned stop at the end of a long day, but not quite late enough to get the best light. Unfortunately it looked like this was in the process of demolition and I expect it to be gone the next time I visit here. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted July 5, 2007 Hanna, an evocative scene in so many ways - how long has it been there? Wha was it like in its prime? Most of all I hope they have the good sense to move it intact and restore it. Link to comment
