Bridal Veil Falls Runoff

Hi there - Long time reader, I'm in the process of building aportfolio here on photo.net My first theme, "Rivers, Streams, Runoffand such." Please let me know what you think?

 

All of my work is done in black and white with heavy cameras thatdon't require batteries.

Beautiful composition! If you are using PS, I would adjust the levels a bit to make the dark tones a bit darker. Everything is "too" gray here, and it is in need of more rich blacks. Just my opinion - wonderful shot regardless.

John, this is a wonderful composition and exposure. I agree with Daniel that you could play with the 'black point' a bit and seek a more contrasty look; but all in all, this really came out quite nice. Cheers! Chris

Daniel and Chris captured my comment; I think there could/should be more tonal depth here. I'm neither a PS or B&W expert, but here's one attempt to show what I'm thinking.
