httpwww.photo.netphoto1664881442 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Hi David, nice work. I like the way the polariser has given some crispness in the tonal range and there's an overall sharpness I suspect in the neg that can't quite come through here - but I don't doubt the original's great. Purely as a matter of taste I'd prefer to separate more clearly the model from the shadows of the fir branches and rocks; I'm left with a sense that this is very 'busy' and if it were my shot would have given the model more prominence. Them's my thoughts. Regards, Clive Link to comment
david w good 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Clive, Thank you for your time and comments. I do appreciate them. It was my intention to leave the model "mixed" with the landscape. Rather than making the model the sole subject with the landscape being a setting, I wanted to combine both - making them equally the subject thus letting the viewer "see" the entire scene rather than be drawn to a single point of reference. Having said that - did I accomplish my goal? Thank you again for your critique. Link to comment
