Desert Symphony

This was taken in the John Day National monument fossil beds. It is the painted hills unit and

it's very difficult to get a good shot with clouds since the area gets less than seven inches of

rain a year. Let me know what you think.

Wonderful capture! Guess you waited till the Sun was low!! Didn't know that the painted hills get's little rain... the two times, I've been there it rained a lot.. the 2nd time was enough to get some reflections ;)

Beautiful shot. I like the way the hills in the front are in the light and the hills in the back are shaded. What state is this in?
