Now do you believe in ghosts? Something a little different from my

usual "stuff". Thanks friends for taking the time to view and

comment.

Susan, Great Job!

Is this a timed exposure with a sheet? However you did this (no need to share and give away your secret), it's terrific.

If that's Mahogany bead board on the walls, you'd better harvest it quickly.

Is there an odor in there by chance?

Yikes! That is awesome Susan. What a great effect! I think I'll stay clear of

that Homestead just in case.... Nicely done what ever you did!! Kind Regards Andrea

I'm surprised you got this close to that old couch, but then I guess cowgirls are fearless. Nice effect, done very well.

I think I lied to Dave, the camera was set on "self-timer", does that count?! I'm glad you like it Andrea, it's sorta "out of the box" for me.

Hey, Susan, your housekeeping is severly lacking...LOL! I think those are odor fumes rising, not ghosts! :)

I really like this...very interesting, especially if you take the time to look at all of that junk closely...you can even see the old springs! Great treatment of this image.

Well, see what I've been missing? You know I'm just gonna love this one. These are the shots I live for. Total decadence. Looking at this image you can almost smell it. It is at once something organic, repulsive and to be avoided, as well as attractive and full of mystery and fluidity. I'd print that puppy up nice and big.

Not too worry Shawn, I've swept off the couch for your next visit.

Oh Barry, this ol' homestead is clean compared to my granddaughters pig pen.

David this is just a little enticement for you to venture my way.

Perfect effect you've achieved here: ghostly and suggestive. Excellent contrasts in this so-hypnotic shot. Regards.

I like that word "hypnotic", Webster's defines it as "tending to produce sleep", but maybe not on this couch.

This is _very_ intriguing, Susan. Hang this one on the wall and it will be a conversation starter for decades. Beast Regards, Jerry

I had fun creating this image and I too found the results "intriguing", but I haven't tried printing it yet.

Excellent creativity and execution of your idea. Looks like someone forgot you're not supposed to smoke in bed!

The sunspots kind of detract from the aesthetics for me but hey, whatcha gonna do, photography ain't perfect and that's just my opinion.

This certainly reminds me of Eddie Murphree's movied "Haunted Mansion".

Very good work,

Kirk

This was actually quite simple to do, my camera was on a tripod, set to a slow shutter speed, self timer of course, and I sat on the couch and when I heard the shutter open I started waving my arms frantically as I leapt up off the couch and out of the frame. After a dozen attempts I came up with this image that I liked. There is a window letting in light onto the couch and the "ghostly" image seemed to "flow" out the window. Lots of fun. Yup Kim, we'll go hang out with the haunts.
