Gondolen restaurant

So, this is an odd shot. The camera distorted the perspective, and there's a lot of noise in the sky. For me, this work. Whether intentional or not, I think these "problems" enliven this photo. The purple noise, if removed, would eliminate a foil for that orange-yellow on the building. If the distortion was removed, this would be a flat scene. The angles bending in toward each other also pull my eye into the scene. This is quite likable. Sorry about the analysis, but "great job!" wouldn't suffice here.

Yes, Dr. Freud is helping me work through my issues. Thankfully, he assures me it won't take long, given that I'm the paragon of mental health. Perhaps only a few decades of intense analysis. . . By the way, my kids are early risers, so I get a few minutes of picture perusing while they down their milk and formula.

Ah...the joys of fatherhood I suppose. I'm sure one of these days you will look back at this with nostalgic eyes.
