Yes, I think the effect is overdone. If you just had this on the tongue, though, it would be quite humorous. Very nice image in itself, though.

...when I saw the over-processing. :-(

 

I'd love to see the un-processed (or less processed) version of this shot...the expression is wonderful, the framing seems to be spot on and the overall impact of the image would be enhanced without the processing.

I agree with the abv two comments, in fact, i guess the look of the small version of this photo (before click in) is cool.

I think the posted version is either over-processed or maybe has the wrong processing effect. Granted this is a matter of taste; and I have no objection to extensive processing. But this is an expressive shot; I'd just prefer a different take on the processing.

I like the overdone thing as long as this is an art work. but as a photograph i would rate this 3/3
