Extremely unique and well done!!!!

There are many lines for the eye to follow- The edges of the sidewalk and the lines painted on the roadway. There is a flow of the water, and drops captured in mid air. A good, busy, active picture, with a nice monochromatic effect. Nice.

Yes there are many aspects of interest, my eyes constantly moving. (but with all this drought, the rain has been extremely painful!!!)

Geri, This is a well composed image and I appreciate the subdued tones you have here and the curb / footpath geometry is great to fill the midfield. My only suggestion to improve this sort of exposure is to maybe try to get a faster shutter speed to freeze more drops and splashes. This is a very good effort none the less and scores highly in degree of difficulty in my book!

Thanks for your comments Matthew. It was bucketing and I was trying to keep my camera gear dry....you are probably right about a faster shutter speed, I will remember that next time I'm in a similar situation..Cheers, Geri
